Belgrade Music Week brings the region's biggest pop names to Ušće for one of the capital's defining summer festivals. We were trusted with two films: an aftermovie to bottle the energy of the crowd and the stage, and a documentary to go deeper — behind the scenes, into the people and the work that make a festival run. Two formats, two jobs, one event captured from every angle.
Behind the project
Belgrade Music Week is one of the capital's biggest pop festivals — a stage at Ušće for the region's most-streamed names, drawing huge summer crowds to the banks of the river. For an event this size, one film is never the whole picture, so we delivered two: an aftermovie and a documentary, each doing a different job.
The aftermovie is the pulse — the crowd, the lights, the headline moments cut into a fast, high-energy film built to travel and to sell the next edition. The documentary is the depth — the story behind the spectacle, the people and the production that turn a lineup into an experience. Together they give Belgrade Music Week a complete visual record: one film to feel the festival, and one to understand it. From the first act to the final frame, we covered both the show and the story.
