After a decade away, Dino Merlin came back to Split — one of the region's true legends, returning to the stage for a massive open-air night at Park mladeži. Timeless hits, new songs and an enormous crowd that sang every word through the summer heat. We covered the whole show in photo and video, capturing one of the biggest concerts of the season at full scale.
Behind the project
Some concerts are events in their own right. When Dino Merlin — one of the most iconic artists the region has ever produced — returned to Split after ten years away, it became one of the summer's defining nights. The open-air stage at Park mladeži filled with a crowd that had waited a decade, there for the timeless hits and the new songs, undeterred by the heat and singing along from the first note.
Our role was to capture that scale and emotion in photo and video. Across the night we shot the performance, the vast crowd and the atmosphere of a genuine homecoming, then cut and graded the material into a package that holds the weight of the moment — a legend back on stage, and thousands of people meeting him there. Content built to do justice to a night people will talk about for years.
