Petrovacka noc
Petrovačka noć is one of the Budva Riviera's most-loved traditions — a free, all-day celebration on the Petrovac seafront that marks the close of summer. Tug-of-war and swimming races, a feast of fresh fish and brodet, city music and klapa singing, and evening concerts by the sea. For the Tourism Organisation of Budva, we captured the whole day in photo and video — the flavors, the games and the crowd, from afternoon to the final act under the stars.
Behind the project
Every year at the end of August, the small coastal town of Petrovac trades its quiet, family face for one of the most beloved nights on the Budva Riviera. Petrovačka noć is a celebration of tradition itself — seaside sports games, a feast of fresh fish and brodet paired with local wine, the parade of Budva's city music and klapa singers, and evening concerts that carry on by the water. Free for everyone, it's the Tourism Organisation of Budva's gift to guests and locals, and a warm farewell to the main season.
Our role was to capture that spirit in photo and video. Across the day we shot the games, the food, the performers and the crowd filling the Petrovac promenade, then cut and graded the material into a content package the Tourism Organisation can use to promote both the event and the destination. The goal was to bottle the feeling of the night — traditional, generous and unmistakably Mediterranean — in a way that makes people want to be on that seafront next summer.
